要約

The important problem in the design of waveguide structures is the development of the mode-matching technique for calculating irregularities specified in different coordinate systems. This paper presents a method for calculating a number of multi-arm junctions through the use of the mode-matching technique for the radial and rectangular waveguide fields. A modification of the method is suggested to analyze junctions with several short-circuited arms. Also, the accuracy and convergence of the method is investigated.
