ENERGY LOSS OF A CHARGED PARTICLE MOVING ALONG THE HELICAL PATH
要約
One of the topical problems of modern radiophysics and electronics is the study of oscillation mechanisms of electromagnetic waves emitted by charged particles moving in various electromagnetic systems. It is very important that the particle energy loss per unit time due to the excitation in the self- oscillation system is among significant characteristics of a possible oscillation process. Knowledge of the energy loss allows us to find the increments and to determine the threshold conditions for the oscillation instability during charged particle moved in the system. In this paper, using the Maxwell equations and basing on the integrated approach (analytical and numerical), the energy loss of a charged particle moving along the helical path over the surface of the cylinder (dielectric or metal), were determined. The conditions, under which in the system a magnetic bremsstrahlung radiation from electromagnetic waves is emitted, were determined. The investigation results permit to extend and systematize our knowledge (conceptions) about mechanisms of electromagnetic wave generation in the electrodynamic systems constituting a base of microwave oscillators.
