A system approach is proposed to estimate the thermostressed state of the heat protection coating under conditions simulating the actual ones during the spacecraft deorbiting in the dense layers of the atmosphere. The approach is based on obtaining experimental data applied to theoretical investigation of the stress state of the heat protection coating with a subsequent analysis of the temperature field and stress distribution depending on a service conditions.
