要約

It has been found that the dissolved substances of phenol origin are accumulated in shallow water zones of reservoirs occupied by the thickets of higher aquatic plants. Their high concentrations are capable of inhibiting the development of Cyanobacteria. In this case, the functional activity of plankton algae belonging to other taxonomic groups is unaffected by these substances. The decrease in the content of these substances in deep water sections of reservoirs is responsible for intensive development of waterbloom-forming species of Cyanobacteria, and also for changes in the structure of communities of plankton algae.
