要約
The species composition of fish fauna and quantitative indices of its development were investigated in several small rivers of Kiev differing in the degree of anthropogenic load. They included the Lybid', Syrets, and Nivka rivers. It has been found that changes in hydrological regime conditioned by anthropogenic transformation of the riverbed are of considerable importance in the formation of the species composition and ecological characteristics of fish fauna. It has been shown that changes in hydrological regime of small rivers of urban territories result in the decrease in the number of species, and also in the substitution of litho-rheophilous fish complex for phyto-limnophilous one.
