Organic Matter Decomposition in Bottom Sediments of Water Bodies under the Ice

要約

Investigations carried out in January − March in water bodies of different types have shown that during this period the contribution of microbial processes in bottom sediments to organic mater decomposition accounted for 68−97%. In silts of lakes with a high productivity, organic matter was decomposed only by anaerobic way.
