This paper deals with vibrations in a plane angular sector (PAS) of a poroelastic elliptic cone. The frequency equations for both pervious and impervious surfaces are obtained in the frame work of Biot's theory of wave propagation in porous solids. For illustration purpose, three materials, namely, sandstone saturated with kerosene, sandstone saturated with water, and a bony material have been used. In all the cases, the phase velocity as a function of the wavenumber is computed for various corner angles of the PAS.
