Exact solutions of the problem of combined, heat and mass transfer in film absorption are analyzed for both isothermal and adiabatic conditions on a wall under the assumption of a uniform velocity profile. The obtained solutions are compared to similar solutions for a parabolic velocity profile. The solutions of the problem of the "thermal" stage of vapor bubble growth in solution boiling are found based on model equations. Here desorption in pool boiling and on a heated surface is considered. The solutions are valid within a wide range of Prandtl numbers and other dimensionless complexes for a mixture.
