要約

The melt blowing process can produce ultrafine fibers. Adding an auxiliary nozzle is helpful to further decrease the fiber diameter. The air flow field of the melt blowing process with the use of an auxiliary nozzle is simulated numerically. The simulation results are compared with analytical calculation results and experimental data. The results provide a good foundation for modeling the polymer drawing in our further researches on improving the melt blowing technology.
