Review of the authors’ works on development, investigation and use of apparatuses for gas and liquid contact with a rotating gas−liquid layer is presented. Such devices are called centrifugal-bubbling apparatuses. The calculation data on the hydrodynamic characteristics of these apparatuses (pressure difference, average gas content, phase contact surface, velocity of the layer rotation) as well as the results of the investigation of heat and mass transfer and gas cleaning processes are presented. The higher efficiency of the investigated processes in the centrifugal-bubbling apparatuses in comparison with widely used bubbling apparatuses is noted.
