The numerical solution is found to the problem of asymmetric steady-state flow around a circular cylinder with a flat plate installed behind it parallel to the uniform incoming flow of incompressible fluid up to Reynolds number Re = 900. The dependences of the size of the separation zone and drag coefficient on the Reynolds number, and the distance from the cylinder to the plate, are studied.
