NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF FLOW CHARACTERISTICS OF AIRFOILS AT SUPERSONIC VELOCITIES OF THE INCOMING FLOW
要約
Specific features of creating a finite-volume computational grid for calculating the aerodynamic characteristics of airfoils at supersonic velocities of the incoming flow are considered. The results calculated by the proposed technique are compared with experimental data for several airfoils optimized for the minimum drag coefficient at a given maximum thickness. It is shown that the technique ensures satisfactory agreement between the calculated and measured results.
