DESIGN OF CONTROL SYSTEM ALGORITHMS FOR UNMANNED TILTROTOR

Design of complex control system algorithms for tiltrotors is considered to provide acceptable stability and controllability characteristics for all flight modes and automatic flight control. Astatic (integral) algorithms of the stability and controllability augmentation loop are developed for helicopter and fixed-wing flight modes, which provide particular limitations to the tiltrotor motion parameters. Design of algorithms for automatic stabilization of the tiltrotor flight parameters (autopilot) for helicopter and airplane flight modes is carried out. Algorithms for automatic control of the transient regime between helicopter and airplane tiltrotor configurations during engine rotation are proposed. Algorithms for automatic approach and landing and automatic landing and preliminary acceleration are developed. These algorithms primarily may be used on unmanned tiltrotors.
