HYDROPROCESSING OF LIGHT CYCLE OIL AND GAS OIL BLENDS OVER SULFIDED Ni–Mo/SiO2–Al2O3 CATALYST IN MICROCHANNEL AND FIXED BED REACTORS
要約
Hydroprocessing of light cycle oil (LCO) and gas oil blends is carried out in a microchannel and fixed bed reactor over a sulfided Ni–Mo(S)/SiO2–Al2O3 catalyst. GCxGC results show < 4 wt.% polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) yields in the case of blend A (25%LCO + 75% GO) and blend B (50% LCO + 50% GO) in a fixed bed reactor. IBP-250°C fraction (gasoline) was maximum in blend B products, inside both fixed bed and microchannel reactors, at 380 and 400°C, respectively. Cracking reactions occur at lower temperatures (340°C) in a fixed bed reactor; whereas, higher temperatures (380°C) are required in a microchannel reactor. Hydrotreated products meet the cetane index, 95% distillation boiling point, PAH, and density specifications of BS VI (EURO 6) norms.
