Comparative analysis of the glial cytoskeleton state of the hydrobionts' of the Dnieper reservoirs has been carried out for the first time. Reliable increase of expression of the glial intermediate filaments protein was found, which was an evidence of the induced astrogliosis, i. e. neuroglial functional response to the negative effect of the polluted aquatic environment. The state of the glial cells cytoskeleton of the vertebrates was proposed as reliable and valid marker. %8 2010-02-25
