The temperature field in the vicinity of a growing vapor cavity is calculated, and heat flux caused by evaporation is found. Dynamics of deformation of an evaporation surface close to the wetting line is investigated. It is established that the model of propagation of a vapor film along the surface owing to the action of refractive forces of withdrawing vapor agrees well with the experiment. %8 2002-06-01
