T1 Solving the Nonlinear Singular Integral Equation Governing Amplitude-Phase Relations in the Communication Theory JF Telecommunications and Radio Engineering JO TRE YR 2002 FD 2002-03-01 VO 57 IS 2-3 OP 19 AB The set of all solutions of the nonlinear singular integral equation u2 + (Hu)2 = A2 has been construction in the space U of all the signals u = u(t) with compact-carrier spectra. Here H is the Hilbert transformation operator. The equation describes all the signals u(t) = A(t)cos(ξ0t + Φ(t)) U , and hence all the phases Φ(t) corresponding to the Hilbertian amplitude A = A(t), The equation is reduced to a boundary-value problem for analytical functions that is solved through factorization of the exponential type entire function A2(z).
