Meiobenthos of loose bottom sediments of the Zernov Phyllophora Field was represented by 13 large taxa of hydrobionts. The contribution of eumeiobenthos to the total numbers of meiobenthos accounted for 98.2%. The contribution of eumeiobenthos to the total biomass of meiobenthos was 64.6%, whereas the contribution of pseudomeiobenthos accounted for 36.4%. In the Zernov Phyllophora Field, the average numbers of the stable component of meiobenthos were 762.58±288.52 thousand specimenns/m2 , whereas its average biomass accounted for 5.78±2.38 mg/m2.
The average numbers and biomass of the unstable component of meiobenthos accounted for 13.63±6.00 specimens/m2 and 3.17±1.65 mg/m2, respectively. In eumeiobenthos of the Zernov Phyllophora Field, the complex with a predominance of Foraminifera and Nematoda prevailed in terms of its average numbers. %8 2006-10-25
