AB The results of experiments on activation of nanocrystalline ZrO2 + MgO and Al2O3 powders by a volume plasma of arc discharge with a filament are presented. Powder treatment was carried out in an argon and a nitrogen atmosphere at a temperature of 100−140°C for 1 hour. It is shown that the plasma treatment of powders results in modification of phase composition, decrease in internal stresses, increase in the number of defects.
