AB The effect of the prolong oscillation of water temperature on content of the energy substances and ATP-ase activity in the gill of the freshwater bivalve mollusk Unio tumidus has been studied. The decrease of glycogen and total protein content along with differently directed changes of total lipids content and intensity of lipid peroxidation were noted. Dependence was stated between ATP-ase activity in the gills of U. tumidus on oscillation of water temperature.
