T1 Assessment of the Influence of the Mussel Farm on Hydrochemical Conditions of the Region of Its Functioning (Sevastopol Bay, the Black Sea) JF Hydrobiological Journal JO HYD YR 2009 FD 2009-07-01 VO 45 IS 3 SP 101 OP 110 K1 hydrological and hydrochemical monitoring K1 Sevastopol Bay K1 mussel farm K1 nutrients K1 products of metabolism AB Results of hydrological and hydrochemical monitoring carried out from July 2004 until June 2007 in the vicinity of the experimental industrial mussel farm located near the exit from Sevastopol Bay are given in the paper. Accumulation of nitrogen and phosphorus bearing organic and mineral compounds, a decrease in the value of pH, the increase in the value of BOD5, and also deterioration in the processes of production and decomposition, conditioned by the vital activity of mollusks were not revealed as a result of the performed monitoring. This fact suggests that the products of mussel metabolism income into the open sea. PB Begell House LK https://www.dl.begellhouse.com/journals/38cb2223012b73f2,289adbd11ae4cff1,7fedf30d1e127037.html
