Numerical study on the performance of Venturi scrubber in self-priming mode
要約
This study deals with on the performance of Venturi scrubber for two self-priming mode; submerged and non-submerged, using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation. The simulation of two phase flow in ventrui scrubber is used two stage of analysis. The first stage is used Euler-Euler approach to find liquid loading. The second stage is used Euler-Lagrangian approach to find dust efficiency for three phase flow such as gas, liquid and solid dust. The Numerical methodology is verified with the experimental results of liquid loading for gas velocity at throat and good predicts. Non-submerged mode has better dust removal effect compared to submerged mode because of higher liquid loading inside throat of venturi scrubber.
