要約

The study presented in this paper describes the experimental rig and the methodology used to carry out the experimental research for an absorption refrigeration system. The unit charge, for this system, consisted of a quantity of ammonia, water and hydrogen (H2-H2O-NH3).
The refrigeration performance, for the refrigeration system, was analysed using a nominal thermal load (100%) and two part loads of 60 and 120% respectively. The thermal loads were supplied to the generator by electrical resistances. The results indicated that after two hours of the system operation the refrigeration process reached the steady performance, for all the tests.
The refrigeration process with a part load of 60% observed instabilities and the refrigeration rate is lower up to 50% than the nominal load. However, the refrigeration process with part load of 120% had higher refrigeration rate of 30% than the nominal load, and not instabilities were observed.
