This paper reports a new set of experimental data and presents an in-depth analysis of the results on a jet stream produced by a large quarter-round corner-mounted displacement diffuser. The air velocity, temperature, turbulence intensity and thermal comfort inside a displacement ventilation (DV) jet have been thoroughly analyzed, which further leads to new development of the existing thermal wall jet maximum velocity decay models for improved prediction of the velocity distribution inside the DV jet.
