NONTRIVIAL CROSS-POLARIZATION REGIMES IN THE CASCADES OF THE CROSSED STRIP GRATINGS
RESUMO
The cross-polarized effects occurring in the cascades of crossed gratings are being explored in the rigorous statement. Some peculiar resonance regimes of the rotators of electromagnetic wave polarization have been discovered. It was proven that gratings having the period commensurable with wavelength λ can be used as a basis for creation of rotators. Owing to the increase of grating's period and on account of a flat-topped amplitude-frequency response of polarizers we raised by two orders the working bank. The suggested structures in form of double gratings or other non-standard constructions (for example, -three and more gratings with two directions of orientation of strips). A non-trivial bad effect has been discovered and possible ways of its elimination have been suggested.
