Special Features of distributed targets radar equation when employing superwide-band signals

RESUMO

Interest has considerably increased recently in the use of super-wide-band (SWB) signals for the remote radio sending of various media and objects [1]. It is worthwhile that it will be appropriate to use SWB signals for the remote sensing of circumterrestrial and outer space. It will allow to raise substantially the range resolution of sensing methods and to increase considerably their informativity.
We propose a generalization of radar equation to the case when SWB signals are used for the remote sensing of distributed targets. The distinctions between the foregoing equations are considered with the use of calculation results.
