RESUMO

The partial reflections technique has been employed to study the generated or amplified in the mid latitude lower ionosphere after strong earthquakes. The effect of earthquakes on the characteristics of radio noise at frequencies f = 2−4 MHz has been studied in dependence of the power, distance, location (on the surface or under water) and depth of the earthquake.
