RESUMO

The present paper is dedicated to development of an optimal algorithm for signal detection in television-type technical vision systems. A solution to the problem of optimal detection of a deterministic signal in additive noise using image correlation processing based upon classical detection theory. Analytical expressions are derived for mathematical expectation, signal dispersion at the correlation detector output and probability detection characteristics. An efficiency of the proposed algorithm is validated by means of mathematical simulation.
