LONGITUDINAL FIELD DISTRIBUTION IN THE FRESNEL ZONE OF A CIRCULAR APERTURE WITH A TAPERED AMPLITUDE PATTERN

RESUMO

The longitudinal distribution of the Fresnel field intensity is analyzed for a circular focused aperture with a descending amplitude pattern in the form of a parabola on a pedestal. Analytical relations have been derived and plots are presented which describe dependences of the basic parameters characterizing the longitudinal distribution on the pedestal height and focal length.
