RESUMO
The degree of the dispersion-modified optical fibers welding influence on refractive index profile and, consequently, on the dispersion value caused by it is studied. The method of dispersion calculation is chosen where the refractive index profile variation is taken into account. The changes in the refractive index form are modeled. The dispersion brought in by the modeled change is expected. The algorithm is developed for determination of dispersion dependence on different factors of variation: profile height, core radius, depth of intermediate cladding and its width.
