Scattering of Electromagnetic Waves by Two Superconducting Bands

RESUMO

The boundary value problem of diffraction by two thin superconducting bands that are an open resonator is first solved by a technique we developed previously. Solving this problem is reduced to a system of Fredholm integral equations of the second kind by means of pair integral equations. The algorithms obtained and justified are useful for numerical implementation with a computer to determine basic electrodynamic properties of the two superconducting bands. This technique makes it possible to independently consider the boundary value problem of the determination of natural oscillations of an open superconducting resonator of the Fabry−Perot interferometer type.
