Effect of the Bolometer Diameter on the Measured Profile Distribution of Focused Laser Radiation

RESUMO

It has been shown that if the bolometer diameter is equal to the recorded RMS radius of the optical beam, then the systematic error in the measured RMS radius of the profile in density distribution does not exceed +5%, dropping off quite as the diameter decreases.
