Larvae Chironomus riparius (Diptera: Chironomidae) as Sensitive to Copper Test-Object

RESUMO

Sensitivity of Chironomus riparius larvae at different life stages to copper ions has been investigated. Obtained data showed that the first-stage larvae were the most sensitive and fourth-stage− the most tolerant. Eggs of Ch. Riparius were found to be the most resistant to the toxicant impact.
