Mathematical Simulation of T\irbulent Combustion of Ethanol at a Permeable Surface

RESUMO

The effects of combustion, blowing, and the turbulence level of the outer flow on the level of relative velocity fluctuations were investigated by a modified k-ε model of turbulence. It was inferred that, under the given conditions, combustion results in a decrease in relative fluctuations independent of the inlet turbulence level.
