Study of the Jet Module Action on a Local Combustion Hearth of a Flammable Liquid Poured over a Surface

RESUMO

Results for the jet module action on a local combustion hearth are presented. It is established that extinguishing is effected by an inert gas-air mixture produced as a result of treating combustion products on drops of the working fluid of a jet ejector. A simultaneous decrease in the concentration of fuel and oxygen vapors in the reaction zone, cooling of this zone and of the evaporation surface are attained during extinguishing.
