RESUMO

The experimental results for pool boiling of binary mixtures have been presented. The experiments were performed on the experimental set-up with horizontal brass tube of diameter d = 0.016 m and length l = 0.4 m. The experimental results have been compared with numerical calculations based upon the model proposed previously taking into account the effect of mass transfer resistances in one and both phases on the heat transfer. The effect of mixture composition and mass transfer resistances on the lowering of the heat transfer coefficient was confirmed.
