Steam Condensation in Presence of Noncondensable Gas

RESUMO

The results of an experimental study of heat transfer in condensers is presented. The condensing medium is a mixture of steam and noncondensable gas. Experiments were made on model condenser and on condenser of a 500 MW steam turbine. The aim of this work was to investigate the influence of noncondensable gas in the mixture and the velocity of the mixture on heat transfer.
