Interphase Heat and Mass Transfer under Pulsation Conditions
RESUMO
On the basis of Reynolds averaging it is shown that heat and mass transfer processes occurring in a pulse mode proved to be more efficient than those taking place in a conventional manner with identical energy consumption. The algorithm for determining the coefficient of phase volume and time of interphase contact in eddies is presented in the scope of present knowledge of mixing layers as a result of cascade pairwise coalescence of determinable eddies. Transfer processes inside eddies are suggested to be simulated within the framework of approximation of the theory of penetration, whereas transfer through the boundary between the eddies can be analyzed by the theory of boundary layers.
