KINETIC REGULARITIES OF METHYLENE BLUE DESTRUCTION PROCESSES IN DIFFERENT MEDIA UNDER THE IMPACT OF THE DIAPHRAGM DISCHARGE PLASMA
RESUMO
The action of AC diaphragm discharge plasma on the kinetics of methylene blue destruction in acid and alkali media is presented. It was found that the dye destruction passes through formation of the interim product stage (N,N-dimethylaniline) under both conditions. The chemical analysis of the presence of oxidizers in the solution after plasma treatment allows one to explain the post-effect.
