THE INVERSE PROBLEM OF DETERMINING THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF HEMISPHERICAL TOTAL EMISSIVITY
RESUMO
This paper discusses issues related to determining the thermophysical properties of materials by solving the inverse problem of radiative heat transfer. The proposed method allows us to determine the temperature dependence of hemispherical total emissivity of the surface according to the results of radiation heat transfer between two parallelly spaced plates of the test material. The inverse problem of determining emissivity is solved in the temperature range under investigation. The solution is sought in the extreme formulation; i.e., it is formulated as a task of minimizing a functional of quadratic residual between the experimental and calculated data. The technique of determining the initial approximation for the sought dependence is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by examples of solving test problems.
