RESUMO
An intermittent liquid spray was created by applying successive cycles of a pressure waveform to a plain-hole nozzle. Drop size distributions have been obtained for three generically different forms of pressure input at the nozzle inlet. The results show how the spatial size distributions may be controlled by use of specific pressure waveforms.
