Physiological Adrenergic Responses in Albino Rats in Experimental Hyperthyroidism
RESUMO
We studied effects of thyroid hormones on the intensity of physiological responses to adrenergic stimulation with izopropilnoradrenalin (INA) in a dose of 2.0 mg·kg 1·min-1 for 20 min in the development of experimental hyperthyroidism in rats. Rats were divided in two groups. Animals in Group 1 were injected with triiodothyronine for 1 − 12 days. Consequently, there were 12 subgroups receiving 1, 2, 3, etc. up to 12 injections of the hormone. The second group was the control one. It has been shown that in the development of experimental hyperthyroidism, all physiological responses change in accordance with the law, which can be described by the "general" form of a parabola's equation with a degree three.
