Muscle Fatigue: Factors of Development and Ways of Prevention
RESUMO
In the review, the literature data regarding the analysis of physiological and biochemical mechanisms of muscle fatigue development and ways of its prevention are summarized. The effects of the most common endogenous and exogenous antioxidants on biochemical processes in muscle fatigue are analyzed. The review shows that biocompatible, non-toxic water-soluble C60 fullerenes, which possess powerful antioxidant properties, are capable of acting as promising means for correction of fatigue development in skeletal muscle caused by the destructive action of free radicals.
