RESUMO
The article is devoted to the questions of power transmission lines' (PTL) elements damping by means of elastomeric bearings. The damping device for insulator suspension set of PTL is described. The experimental investigations of PTL elements stabilization under vibration and impulse loads are offered. Due to the done tests there had been established that the given structural unit of a damping device provokes energy dissipation at oscillations and can be successfully applied in flexible systems (as in the given insulator string). As the alternative decision the new type of elastomeric bearing reinforcement is proposed-being inclined steel plates reinforcement.
