RESUMO
Nine new nomenclature and taxonomic combinations are proposed in the genus Neoceratium Gomez et al., and one − in the genus Kryptoperidinium Lindemann. The need to introducenew combinations arose due to the division of the genus Ceratium Schrank into twogenera: Ceratium (freshwater species with six singular plates) and Neoceratium (marine species with five plates), and also the further "disbanding" of the genus Glenodinium Ehrenb. (the existence of which is questionable because of unclear taxonomic features).
