(Bacillariophyta) JF International Journal on Algae JO IJA YR 2013 FD 2013-08-14 VO 15 IS 3 SP 274 OP 284 K1 microalgae Phaeodactylum tricornutum K1 carotеnoids K1 fucoxanthin K1 temperature K1 light AB The qualitative and quantitative composition of carotenoids in the diatom microalga Phaeodactylum tricornutum cultivated under different temperature and light conditions was studied. It was revealed that the carotenoid composition of microalga is represented by 5 fractions: β-carotene, fucoxanthin, diadinoxanthin, diatoxanthin, and diadinochrome. Fucoxanthin was represented by trans- and cis-isomeric forms. It is shown that carotenoid accumulation depends on conditions during cultivation. Fucoxanthin maximum accumulation occurs at 30 °C and constant illumination 4.5 klx. PB Begell House LK https://www.dl.begellhouse.com/journals/7dd4467e7de5b7ef,0e7a1914024b39db,0a1f0af727fc03e5.html
