T1 Pulse-Modulated Information Wave Therapy in Complex Treatment of Cerebral Atherosclerosis Patients with Minimal Neurological Deficiency JF Telecommunications and Radio Engineering JO TRE YR 2002 FD 2007-03-19 VO 57 IS 8-9 OP 5 AB The group of 118 cerebral atherosclerosis patients with minimal neurological deficiency has been involved in comparative study of the effect of basic pharmacological therapy (cavinton, essentiale, nootropil) and complex treatment based on pharmacotherapy complemented with electromagnetic signal generated via pulse modulation of carrier frequency (ranging from 1.2 to 1.3 GHz) by periodic sequence of rectangular pulses. The pulse frequency was changed saw-toothly within the range from 1 to 300 kHz. Power flux density was 10-6 W/cm2. The results obtained provide evidence for antinociceptive and sedative action of electromagnetic signal and its ability to improve the variables of cerebral hemodynamics in the group of patients being examined.
