The special test fluid used in this study provided single-component Prandtl numbers between 500 - 6,200, and viscosities of 86 - 650 cP. The new experimental data extended the ranges in Prandtl number and viscosity over previously existing studies by more than two orders of magnitude. Experimental results on heat transfer coefficients were compared to available predictive models. Among these, predictions of recently developed ATC model showed good agreement with the experimental data. %8 2000-12-01
