It is assumed that inside the cylinder plasma moves with velocities Vφ = ΩR/a, Vz = const and outside its boundary a motion of the environment and a magnetic field are absent. It is shown that under certain conditions there occurs the generation of resonance perturbations which can lead to destruction of plasma configuration. It is established that in this case an energy of the cylinder rotational motion changes to an energy of helical perturbations. The work also gives a thorough consideration to helical modes which do not lead to resonant events. The results of the work are applicable to interpretation of data on studying magnetic tubes in the Sun. %8 2019-03-01
