RESUMO
This exploratory study aims at investigating the gas-solid turbulent flow in a horizontal pipe system. The Wavelet Multi-Resolution Analysis (MRA), the Kolmogorov-Sinai Entropy and the Correlation Dimension methods on wall pressure-time signals were analyzed. Results show a signal non-monotonic variability reduction from the highest to lowest time-scales; velocity and pressure fluctuations attenuations by particles; and an increase of the gas-solid flow predictability and complexity in the presence of denser and larger particles.
